Evaluation

Defensively, Izaiah moved well and had a good arm for his age. Only thing to improve on is working on hand eye coordination. Offensively, the overall mechanics of his swing were good. Short swing and consistent. There’s potential there for a little more power. Needs to create more rhythm. His load made his swing a little stiff at times. On the mound, he was mid 70s with slightly below average command and slight cut on his fastball. His curve ball was mid 60s with good spin and 11/5 shape. Decent command of it too. Slight pushy arm action. Needs to work on long tossing more to develop more arm, strength, and accuracy/command of the baseball.
